You are capable. People rely on you.
You know how to lead, solve problems, care for others and keep moving when
life becomes difficult.
And privately, you may be thinking:
“I’m fine. I’m just tired.”
“I know something needs to change,
but I don’t know what.”
“I don’t want to blow up my whole life.
I just can’t keep living like this.”
Maybe you are griving someone you love.
Maybe you are grieving your health, a relationship, a career, a family you imagined, lost time, belonging, or an earlier version of yourself.
Maybe there was no funeral at all.
You simply know that the way you have been carrying everything is no longer working.

You continue functioning through grief, illness, caregiving, racism, cultural expectations, change and exhaustion. And because you continue functioning, few people realize how much you are carrying.
For many high-capacity women, being “the strong one” began as something to be proud of You became dependable. Capable. Resilient. The person people could count on.
But over time, strength can quietly become an expectation. You carry the emotional labour. You solve the problem. You support the family. You lead the team.
Not to make you stronger. To create space where you no longer have to
perform strength.
Strong Daughter Institute was created for the woman beneath all of those roles.
Honour losses and transitions that have not always been recognized.
Explore who you are beyond roles, expectations and conditioning.
Reconnect with your body, voice, values and inner wisdom.
Live and lead without abandoning yourself.

I lost my sense of self and felt unable to see the potential
for me to succeed and grow personally and professionally. During the program, I started recognizing my feelings instead of fighting them. I began to feel lighter and gave myself permission to imagine a future I continued to want
for myself.

The Life Not Lived

Meet Manpreet Dhillon
For more than 25 years, I have worked across leadership, executive coaching,
organizational transformation, human resources, equity and inclusion.
I have advised leaders, governments, organizations and global institutions while also navigating parts of life that never fit neatly into a professional biography. Chronic and invisible illness. Grief around a life that did not unfold exactly as expected. Leadership pressure. Cultural expectations, Racism and exclusion.
Those experiences changed the way I understood strength. I came to see that women
do not need another place teaching them how to endure more.
We need spaces where our leadership, grief, culture, body, ambition and inner lives
can exist in the same conversation. That is why I created Strong Daughter Institute.

“She has such a holistic approach to
her work, she combines coaching, consulting, energetic work and her amazing intuition.”

Meet the founder
Manpreet Dhillon built a successful career leading organisations, advising governments and United Nations agencies, and coaching executives, while privately navigating grief, identity, cultural expectations, and invisible illness. Strong Daughter Institute was born from that understanding.
Her approach integrates executive coaching, grief education, somatic awareness, organisational leadership, equity and inclusion, and South Asian cultural perspectives.
She does not believe women need to become stronger. She believes many women have been strong for far too long.
